This song written by Felipe-Luis Sanchez, son of featured artist Rolando Sanchez. We recorded all the parts separately in a couple of hours and then I spent the next day putting the arrangement together on headphones in my cabana. I enlisted the services of the spanish flamenco guitarist in the next room to add the rhythm and lead guitar parts.
When I gave him the CD he was very happy indeed and for the following week or so while we were still staying in town I would hear this song blaring out of the huge soundsytems of the beach bars and clubs of Taganga along with the ones I did for Rolando. For me it was pure job satisfaction!
